About Ankita

Hi!

So happy to see you around. My name is Ankita. I am an Engineer with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) as my background.

I am a technology working professional with a leading investment bank in India, however, I am extremely passionate about teaching. Having extensive experience in tutoring students across primary and middle school, I find it to be very fulfilling to be able to assist the younger generation in Mathematics.

I will ensure that your concepts are crystal clear, and you remember to apply what you learn in the real world and not just academically.

I will make sure the class is easy to understand, useful, and most importantly creative and interesting for you to come back to.

About the lesson

My approach is always to make any topic extremely lucid for the student via adequate examples and real-life situations. I tend to be agile, dedicated, and patient with the students till the topic is clear to them.

The usual structure of my class would entail :
- Discussions on any doubts from the previous class
- Introduction and background of why the certain new topic is being taught, and its significance in daily life
- A meticulous explanation of concepts involved
- Any practice examples that can evaluate students' understanding of each of the concepts taught
- Time for questions from student
- Relevant mini-projects, activities & assignments are handed over after each class and they are discussed at the end of every week.

I make sure that my students go back from my class, learning a concept with a desire to look for it in the real world, and this way it helps them retain the topic in the long run with much more clarity.

My classes are intended in subjects - Mathematics for school children until high school (Class X)
