About Avishi
I’m a high-achieving rising 11th-grade student with a 4.0 GPA, dual-enrolled in college courses, and experienced in AP-level academics. I have prior 3 years of tutoring experience, and I’ve worked hard to master the same subjects I now tutor, so I know how to explain them clearly and in a way that makes sense. I’m organized, patient, and truly care about helping younger students succeed. Whether your child needs support catching up or wants to get ahead, I’ll meet them where they are and help them grow with encouragement and structure.

The way I teach starts with understanding how much the student already knows. From there, I do a quick review and go as detailed as needed. For math, I guide students through different types of questions at varying difficulty levels until they’re confident and truly understand the concept, not just how to get the answer. For reading, I adjust based on their needs, whether that’s comprehension, fluency, or deeper analysis. I tutor 1st–9th grade students and make sure each lesson feels supportive, structured, and motivating. What sets me apart is that I’ve recently mastered these subjects myself, so I understand what younger students need and explain concepts in a way that feels relatable, clear, and approachable.
