About Florida

Do you find yourself wondering why algebra feels so disconnected from reality? I have spent 12 years helping students bridge that gap by focusing on core concepts before moving toward complex calculations. My approach is rooted in my MS Applied Mathematics degree from the University of Maryland, which helps me simplify topics like systems of equations and polynomials.

Working with middle schoolers, homeschoolers, and college students, I adjust my pace until the logic clicks for you. Whether we are tackling absolute value, the quadratic formula, or linear equations, I maintain a patient, step-by-step perspective. My goal is for you to walk away from our time together feeling truly capable. I look forward to meeting you soon.

About the lesson

Algebra often becomes a headache when you are expected to memorize formulas without understanding the underlying mechanics of exponents, radicals, or quadratic equations. You deserve a session that builds your confidence through careful, logic-based exploration of inequalities and sequences.

My 12 years of classroom experience, backed by an MS Applied Mathematics degree, allow me to break down these high-level topics into manageable, bite-sized components. I prioritize building a strong foundation so that you can navigate challenging problems with ease. We will focus on clear communication and consistent practice to ensure you feel supported through every step of the process.
