About Rishika
I am an aspiring Aerospace Engineer but I love teaching young students and I hope to be a mentor in the process to guide students through school. I love seeing students' faces when they understand something and I hope to instill knowledge on how to study smart for school.
Having taught primary, secondary and JC students during my JC and university, I hope I can bring joy for learning within students. I hope to make learning as fun and engaging as possible!

I usually teach primary school students, and occasionally high school students. I have more experience with primary school Math, Science, and English. I have taught at a tutoring center in Sydney for 1.5 years, and I have tutored JC level chemistry privately for 1 year. I have volunteered as a tutor during JC for primary school students as well.
I usually look at the textbook and structure each lesson plan according to what is being taught at their school. I then focus on making sure they understand what is being taught in school and giving them practice questions. If they show understanding of the topic being taught, then I go ahead in the syllabus and teach them the content so when they are being taught it in school, they will understand each lesson better.
Depending on the student, each lesson can last between 1 hour to 1.5 hours
