I am an engineering graduate. I have had the opportunity to teach students, especially maths and science related subjects, for about 3 years. Maths and science are not necessarily hard; it's just about understanding it and having a specific method to make it work

Having a method is important, at the same time, people are different and have different learning styles. What I have found to work the best for maths and science is repetition. Reading (and understanding the examples) and tackling many problems until you understand the patterns and the methods.
