About Mohammad

I’m a dedicated medical student at Barts and The London, having achieved three A*s in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics at A-level. Teaching has allowed me to share my love for learning and see my students succeed in their academic journeys. I believe in the importance of a solid educational foundation, and I strive to support my students in building that.

With over 6 years of experience in tutoring GCSE and A-level students, I have worked with learners from various backgrounds and abilities. Initially, I tutored at a learning centre, helping dozens of students prepare for their exams. Since then, I’ve transitioned to private tutoring, where I’ve seen remarkable results, with many of my students achieving top grades—9s in GCSEs and A*s at A-level. I understand the challenges students face in preparing for exams and am well-versed in the exam techniques and study methods that lead to success.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is energetic, patient and tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. I believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable, with a focus on genuine understanding rather than simply memorising information. I aim to build confidence, encourage curiosity and foster a lasting love of learning.

I create personalised study plans based on students’ current topics, strengths and weaknesses, target grades, exam board requirements and progress in school assessments.

My lessons typically include:
1. Review: Recap previous learning, mark homework and address misunderstandings.
2. Teach: Break down topics into clear, manageable explanations.
3. Practise: Work through exam-style questions, gradually increasing difficulty.
4. Feedback: Develop exam technique, improve answers and secure method marks.
5. Plan: Set targeted homework and identify areas for improvement.

My goal is to help students build strong subject knowledge, maximise exam marks and feel confident under timed conditions, while developing skills that benefit them beyond the classroom.
