About Qui

I'm an undergraduate student at UC Irvine with 2 years' experience tutoring students of various grade levels, from kindergarteners to college freshmen.

I'm patient and will never give up on my students! I teach by example and allow my students to try out problems by themselves, letting them know that I'm there to help them if they get stuck.

When I took AP Calculus in high school, upperclassmen were always available after school to tutor students who needed extra help to prep for the exam. I really appreciated their help, which resulted in me passing the class and the exam with high scores, and volunteered as a peer tutor for multiple programs at my high school. Eventually, I began working at a private tutoring company and continued gaining more professional experience during and after high school.

I'm an undergraduate student at an accredited university (UC Irvine) and have been tutoring math and English to students of different grade levels (from kindergartenders to college freshmen) for 2 years. As a student, I'm constantly exposed to various teaching styles and can adjust my methods to meet my students' academic needs.

About the lesson

Depending on the subject(s) that my student needs help with, I'll have them take a short assessment to evaluate what areas we need to focus on. From there, I'll adjust lesson plans each session (as necessary) to meet my student's needs.

I've worked with students in kindergarten to college freshmen.
