About Irza
Hey there! My name is Irza, and I'm thrilled that you're here. As a second-year Medical student at the University of Galway, I'm deeply passionate about education and sharing my knowledge. Back in secondary school, I tackled subjects like Higher Level Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, German, and Applied Maths for my Leaving Cert, securing an impressive 601 points.
During those years, I was honoured to receive medals in Maths in both 3rd and 5th year, along with a medal in Applied Maths in 6th year. These achievements weren't just about the recognition ; they were about my love for these subjects and my drive to excel.
Teaching has always been my calling, and I've been told countless times by friends and younger students that I have a natural gift for explaining complex ideas in a way that makes sense. It's incredibly rewarding to see someone grasp a concept they once found daunting.
To ensure a safe learning environment, I'm Garda vetted, and I have glowing references from my own teachers who've seen me in action. Whether it's breaking down a tricky equation or demystifying a scientific concept, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. Let's embark on this exciting learning journey together!

I deal with each student individually depending on their strengths and weaknesses. I break the subject into chapters and start with the topic the student finds the hardest. Each lesson, I'll explain the topic using whiteboard on zoom or google meets. The student is open to ask any questions during the lesson and I will try to answer it to the best of my ability. At the end of each lesson we practice a few exam paper questions together to consolidate the information.
I teach Higher level Maths , Chemistry and Biology for Leaving cert and maths and science for Junior cert.
Typical duration of a lesson is 2 hours .Cost : 10 euro/hr
