About Isabela
My name is Bela, I’m originally from Brazil, currently living in England. I’ve always been fascinated by how the human body works, and with that in mind I’ve graduated in Biotechnology. Unfortunately the science path is more about getting your name into the maximum of papers as possible, so, I’ve realised I needed more. During my time in Australia 9 years ago, I found out about yoga in its proper form, and travelled around Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Philippines collecting information, knowledge and peace from the monks and teachers I found on the way. Since then, I wrote a book on how to train the mind and achieve inner peace, and finally got my training to be a yoga teacher and now here I am, giving the first step towards a career change. Hello everyone! I’m the instructor for those who are tired of the yoga classes we find at gyms. Focusing on the connection with mind, body and soul, we will start a journey where stress and anxiety have no place in your life anymore! Hopefully neither back pain. Fully certified Yoga Instructor, Reiki, and a scientist (Biotechnology Bachelor), I would like to bring to the table a mix of the proven by science tools that blend into the knowledge of the ancient art of yoga. Expect guided meditations for stress, concentration, memory and anxiety relief, restorative yoga (yin), flows for strengthening and developing of flexibility/mobility. I can also help you improve your nutrition, and give you good hacks (backed by science) on how to improve your sleep, fitness, focus and mindfulness! Classes tailored for you, can be taught in English and Portuguese! Expect some laughs and friendship! Get in touch!
