First, you need to decide what type of story you want to tell. So we'll start with the Genre.
Is it going to be a romantic story, coming of age, mystery, a comic, military, sci-fi, action-adventure, slice of life, etc
Then I will teach you how to structure a story from beginning to end.
How to do research, and incorporate new ideas.
Then how to develop a compelling plot and premise to hook your audience.
How to write dialogue, and compelling characters, how to make each one unique.
then how to edit and make your story tight. The goal is to get every student to write their very own story by the end of the class year.
