About Jharna
I am a certified yoga instructor with over 500 hours of training, including therapeutic yoga, Yin Yoga, prenatal, anatomy, and yoga therapy courses. I’ve taught a variety of classes online and offline through my brand, House Of Yoga, and have had the privilege of volunteering for organizations like RPF, village laborers, and corporate groups like Omnicom and Hyatt Group Dubai. My passion for yoga goes beyond teaching—it’s about sharing knowledge in a way that truly impacts people’s lives. I believe everyone deserves a teacher who is genuinely dedicated to their well-being. For me, yoga is not just about a paycheck; it’s about helping others find balance, healing, and peace. As a teacher, I create a safe, supportive, and calming space for all , with a focus on gentle, beginner-friendly yoga. My approach is rooted in breath awareness and nervous system balancing, ensuring that each student feels nurtured and empowered. I guide my students through slow, mindful movements that promote emotional healing, hormonal balance, and physical well-being.
In each class, I start with grounding breathwork to calm the mind and prepare the body for movement. We then progress into a series of gentle asanas (postures), focusing on alignment and body awareness, followed by a short relaxation to integrate the practice. I use verbal cues, visual demonstrations, and modifications to ensure that each individual, regardless of their experience level, can follow along comfortably.
My special feature as a teacher is my ability to adapt the practice to the needs of each individual, offering modifications for different body types, fitness levels, and wellness goals. My classes are designed to be accessible, calming, and restorative, with a focus on overall well-being.
