About Kira
Degrees like my MD from UC San Francisco School of Medicine mean less than the ability to teach molecular biology effectively. High scores on the MCAT do not always translate into being an effective coach for high school students or A-level students. I found that I was better at helping others succeed after I hit 520+ on my own exam. My focus remains entirely on genetics and inheritance as well as complex enzymes and metabolism.
Homeostasis is often the key to understanding biological systems. I also specialize in plant biology and food webs and energy flow. I am here to help.
