About Seiko

I am TESOL certified and an experienced teacher both in person and online. I have taught English and lived in South East Asia for 3 years. I am a full time traveler and have visited over 50 countries.

Aside from teaching, I am also a Business owner. I work online in my own start-up franchise. I hire people all around the world and help individuals and small/big businesses get started with becoming a business owner, either working online (remotely/at home) or in person. I mostly deal with international clients online or in person.

I do digital/ social media marketing for my business. I help people to learn and understand the importance of passive/residual income, having a side business(full or part time), multiple streams of income (inflation) and living a financially secure and stable lifestyle.

I am from Canada and have been living abroad and travelling since 2014. I am passionate about my job, I love my career and being able to help people. Being an entrepreneur and working for myself has been the greatest, life changing and best decision for me. Seeing how my company is changing the lives of millions around the world is a very inspiring, empowering and a positive feeling.

I love reading scientific research studies, learning about autoimmune/degenerative diseases/chronic illnesses, it is very important for my job.

I love topics such as: sustainability, vegan/vegetarianism, holistic health, alternative health, chemical free/toxic free living, organic/zero waste, eco friendly living, how we can help make the world a better, healthier and less toxic planet, ways to reduce plastic water bottles & single use plastic to protect the environment/marine life, reducing chemicals in the home/on the body to help people and families live a more safe, sustainable and healthier lifestyle.

I absolutely love working with university students and adults. I am passionate about teaching English and have been teaching for the past 6 years in person and online. I am humorous, caring, patient, friendly, energetic and enthusiastic. I love to write poetry and read spiritual/energy novels. I love listening to music, dancing, playing the ukulele, rock climbing, swimming, sailing, travelling, camping, playing with my dog, hiking, astrology, watching films and stand up comedy.

About the lesson

I enjoy having interesting, intellectual, friendly and casual conversations with my students about all different topics. I am very patient and always remember to speak slowly and clearly if needed.

I enjoy helping students with pronunciation, phonics, correcting sentence structures to improve their overall English spoken skills, and helping students to expand on their vocabulary and improve their overall conversational skills.

I am mostly doing free-talk, casual conversations with my students because I believe this method helps certain level of English learners to progress a lot faster, and teaches students how to learn English as a native speaking person has learnt.

Depending on a student's English level, our classes will be focused on your needs of me helping you improve your overall English skills. Sometimes we will work on a lesson plan for half of the class, or the full class, depending on your request.

I am easy going, and have a relaxed teaching style that will help students to feel comfortable with me. I am patient and speak slowly for students to understand me. I am a great listener for students who would just like to speak to practice and improve their overall English spoken skills.

I am laid back, kind, nurturing and mostly practice free-talk, casual conversations about whatever my students are interested in learning/ talking about in my classes, so that students are able to improve their daily English spoken/ conversational skills like a Native speaker.

I teach about idioms, expressions, collocations, common phrases, phrasal verbs, slang (informal), formal English, etc so that students are adequately able to understand how Native speakers are speaking today. I also help students prepare for IELTS and teach Business English.
