About Sanna
I am a Doctor of Dental Surgery student, with a passion for the English language. When I was in elementary school, I had a lot of trouble understanding the English language and grasping all the grammatical rules - there's so many! Towards the end of elementary school, I took part in French Immersion, where all of my academic classes were now taught in French. Learning a new language from scratch at the age of 10 was extremely challenging yet rewarding. It pushed me to think differently about languages and I wanted to share these thoughts with other students who may find languages difficult like I did. I started with tutoring local, students and took my skills to Central Asia where I worked at a university to teach English to high school students.
I would love to continue to share my experiences and teach you tips and tricks to help improve your English skills!

The tutoring sessions will be focused on goals that we set together as well as finding ways to make your learning enjoyable and productive. I have worked at the University of Central Asia (both the Tajikistan and Krygyztan campuses) to teach English, Math and Science to high school students, focusing on their English skills. I also have experience with creating curriculums to teach students English. Additionally, I enjoy providing constructive feedback for written and verbal assignments, even at a university level.
