Sometimes it feels overwhelming to settle into a new country while needing to learn a completely different language. My career spans 13 years of helping newcomer families and professionals build the English fluency necessary for their new lives in Canada.
I hold a Master of Arts in French and a CELTA from McGill University to ground my methods in linguistic theory. Teaching 215 students has shaped my ability to simplify complex grammar concepts for absolute beginners and university applicants alike. I enjoy bridging the gap between basic survival English and the high level proficiency required by IELTS candidates.
It is truly rewarding to witness the quiet confidence that emerges when a learner finds their voice in a new tongue. I look forward to supporting your progress as you settle into this community.
