About Christina
With 17 years of experience as a certified teacher in both general education and special education settings, I bring a high level of expertise, structure, and professionalism to every tutoring session. I have worked with a wide range of learners, from students who need foundational support to those aiming to strengthen and refine their skills, particularly in math and science.
My approach is clear, supportive, and results-driven. I understand how to break down complex concepts into manageable steps while maintaining high expectations for student success. Instruction is modeled step-by-step, followed by guided practice where we work through problems together. Students then move into independent or supported practice, depending on their needs. I incorporate frequent comprehension checks throughout the lesson and end with a summary or exit task to reinforce key concepts and assess understanding.
