About Irene
I have experience in tutoring students from 1st grade to 9th grade, mostly focusing on algebra, but other subjects are available. All students I have worked with have received grades they were satisfied with, as my priority is to analyze each of their unique strengths and weaknesses, helping them approach certain questions much more efficiently and easily. I have taken many rigorous courses as a junior in one of the top-ranked high schools in the nation.

I first see what level the student is at, identifying their weaknesses and strengths when approaching questions. I am confident in explaining a concept in a way they will understand the best in, and able to provide them extra study materials or homework if needed. I have various experiences in tutoring students ranging from 1st grade to 9th grade in subjects such as mathematics (mostly algebra), Korean, and AP classes (AP seminar, AP Precalculus, AP Biology, AP Psychology, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP US History). I adjust lesson plans for each student and their preferences, which makes them comfortable and not overwhelmed.
