About Sasha
I am a student who has just finished year 12 and is enrolled in a pre medical course at university to become a doctor. I have a passion for science and aspire to be a mentor for year 11 and 12 students to support them in their academic endeavours but also reassure them that with guidance and support, pursuing a subject in science is not as daunting as you may think! I endeavour to inspire confidence in my students and their capabilities by offering practical tips to apply in study and exam situations to maximise marks. These methods have enabled me to achieve a WACE certificate of distinction, an ATAR score of 98.3 as well as an excellence scholarship for my field of study and I wish to inspire other students to also achieve their personal best.

I believe in tailoring tutoring to fit each individual student's needs and educational requirements. Depending on which areas the student is struggling I compile exercises and questions from past WACE papers and course materials to ensure that the student is able to apply knowledge effectively to answer questions in tests and exams to guarantee full marks. I truly believe we all take varied approaches to learning concepts and strive to use a variety of techniques to explain concepts including diagrams and real life examples so the student can recognise the relevance of essential concepts in the real world. My teaching style not only comprises of ensuring the student thoroughly understands the concepts in the year 11 and 12 ATAR syllabus but also develops a passion and genuinely begins to enjoy learning as much as I do!
