About Brahmjot
I chose to become a tutor because I genuinely enjoy the process of turning complex, intimidating concepts into simple, "lightbulb" moments for younger students. Having successfully navigated the high pressure of GCSEs myself, I know firsthand that achieving top marks isn’t just about raw talent—it is about mastering exam technique, building confidence, and using the right revision strategies. I target GCSE and Key Stage 3 students who want to build foundational confidence or push their grades up to an 8 or 9 in STEM subjects.
As a Year 13 student predicted 4 A*s at A-Level with six Grade 9s at GCSE, I have an advanced understanding of the current curriculum. I know exactly what modern examiners look for because I successfully navigated these exact papers myself!
My approach focuses on active recall, exam-board specific mark schemes, and pattern recognition in high-yield exam questions. I use collaborative online whiteboards so students can actively work through past paper problems in real-time, rather than just listening to a lecture.
Standard sessions are 60 minutes long, which provides the perfect balance of a quick topic recap, active problem-solving practice, and a review of common mistakes.
