About Som
I have been teaching young children and have an excellent track record of being aware of the ever-changing need for education in society. My interest in teaching stemmed from when I started providing part-time home tuitions back when I was still doing my BSc. This passion for teaching led me to enroll in a professional two-year initial teacher training course called Bachelor of Education from the HNB Garhwal University, India under which I have been fortunate to have been allowed to get classroom experience and work as a full-time science and maths teacher under my internship program for 16 weeks. I am now studying a PGCE (teacher training) from St Marys University Twickenham London and have recieved a fully funded scholarship for the same by the British Government. While working with children in real-time, I developed many transferable skills and qualities such as - real-time problem-solving
behavior management
time management
interpersonal skills
Achieving a distinction in my Bachelor's not only has brushed up my maths and physics fundamentals, but also has provided me with advanced scientific knowledge that would make me competent and confident in tutoring and solving the queries of school students effortlessly
