About Michael
I am a Year 13 student who achieved 11 Grade 9s at GCSE, as well as 5 grade As at AS level across Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Spanish during my Year 12 exam season. I believe that I am not only able to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner, but I am able to deliver them in an engaging and fun way. Learning with me will not be simply about mastering your exams - it will be a journey to completely understanding your subjects and genuinely enjoying your studies. Once you unlock passion and enjoyment in the subjects that you do, the success will follow. This is something I am confident that I can realise in all of my students.

Having been in the position of sitting GCSE exams just a short amount of time ago, I completely understand the stance of wanting to do well but not knowing where to start. Sure, plenty of online resources exist, but I as well as many others have found it difficult to discover the way of learning that works best for them. Education should be an enjoyable process and easy to understand for all types of people who possess varying abilities in the subjects they want to pursue, and this is where I would like to help.
A simple and intuitive introduction to the topics at hand, infused with a hint of complexity that allows for deep understanding of the subject, is something that I wish I had going through my GCSEs - this is what I will aim to provide as a tutor. Moreover, I feel that learning is the easiest through a causal approach - this is entirely what I will aim to deliver during my lessons, where I aim to make my delivery of content more enjoyable than strenuous and mentally taxing for the student.
The length of lessons are entirely up to the discretion to the student and/or parent, however I would recommend no more than 2 hours. Overloading yourself with information is something that can really end up counter-productive, and this should be avoided if you want to prosper in school.
To clarify, I am more than happy to deliver lessons on AS Mathematics - this is the highest level of qualification I have personally sat, however I achieved very highly on my exams last summer and feel as if I can confidently explain the subject.
