Judy takes the time to learn the student in order to discover where the barriers are and develops strategies that enable the parents to help understand and support their student in a more comprehensive way. By involving parents it eases their frustrations and the students can sense that. Learning today is not just writing sentences, doing times table or rote memorization, it is much more involved and nuanced and takes time and planning for the individual needs of each student.
