About Xereane
I go under the pen name Xereane and I am a self-trained anime artist and on top of that I graduated as a Graphic Designer. In my spare time I sell my work at conventions around Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany so you may have already met me there.
You don't need any experience, just a passion for drawing and the fun you can get from it is a requirement. Everything I know I have learned on my own and if I can do it, then so can too. Together we will find a way to put your ideas on paper and to fulfill your creative desire.

Introduction: It is important for me as a teacher to know how skilled you are. Based on this, I will create a personal trajectory for you and guide you over the weeks in blocks of 1-3 hours per session. Based on your experience and your ultimate goals, your lessons could look a bit like this.

- Introduction drawing program (Clip Studio Paint/ Photoshop)
- Fundamentals and Basic Concepts
- Painting & Line Art
- Basic Coloring Principles
- Thinking Like a artist.
- Different anime styles, shoujo, bishoujo, chibi ect...

- Anatomy
- Ambient Occlusion & Line weight
- Color theory
- Exposure and light reflections
- Perspective
- Working with 3D models (Clip Studio Paint*)
- Backgrounds and composition
*Experienced:
- Marketing, trends, social media
- DTP (Desktop Publishing) (Adobe Indesign*)
- Retouchings
- Commissions and online sales
- Manga building and storyboarding
At the end of a lesson I will give you an assignment that we will individually review and assess in the following lessons where I can provide tips and feedback.
