About Claire

My name is Claire and I am a high school senior. I have strong experience in Chemistry, earning an A in Indiana University's CCP (dual-credit) Chemistry course. I am also skilled in Algebra I and II, earning a 33 on the math section of the ACT.

I am a student looking to help other students. My goal is to give others the help that I wish I had when I was struggling earlier on in my grade school career.

In 7th and 8th grade I was shy (especially in math and science), too shy to ask for help from my teacher. Because of this I struggled, but even with a teacher's help I found it difficult to understand these topics. That's when I turned to my peers.

The students who wanted to learn and grow alongside me became my tutors. After breaking through mindset and social barriers, I'm now a very successful student and I want to help those struggling as I was.

Now I want to help you grow. I've worked with peers my age and younger. I'm great at being flexible to your specific learning style in these difficult subjects. I'm going to do my best to get you on the right track and crushing those concepts!

About the lesson

General Chemistry and Algebra courses can be daunting when it's just you and the teacher. If you need extra help understanding concepts in your class or just want some summer prep, you've landed on the right page!

My name is Claire and I would love to help you work through whatever Chem/Algebra issues you may be having! I specifically work with middle-high school students in General Chemistry and Algebra I and II. I want to help you prepare for/dig deeper on the concepts you need to know.

I'm a very flexible tutor, I know that some teaching styles just aren't right for certain learners. Over Google Meet I will adjust to your needs so that you can grow as much as possible each session!

My rate is $20.00 for each 1 hour session. You will get your first session with me for free. Think of this as a trial run to see if I am the right fit for you!
