I had two classes with her one theory of music which included site singing where I learned to sing each note and I also learned rhythm. The other class was techniques for singing which was my favorite part. The theory might tire you out but you will see the impact it has in your singing over time and it will surprise you.


Helia is the only teacher I felt comfortable with, because she was very patient with me unlike my other experiences where the tecaher would get mad when I sang a note wrong. She is also very talented herself and she keeps updating herself on singing techniques. I assume she’s also a music student at university which explains all the scientific details she explained to me. Her classes are always interesting and never boring. She gives you reasonable and yet very helpful homework. It may be hard for you to stick to your home exercises at first but try to do them regularly for your classes to pay off.

I loved taking lessons with Helia a lot and I hope that my schedule to free up a bit so I can take lessons with her again.
