About Abby
This school year will be my 14th year teaching in the public school system. I have taught mostly middle school English Language Arts and Reading Intervention to middle school students. I have also worked as a Gifted Specialist for students in grades K-12. I have studied extensively and am excited to continue my teaching time.

It has always been my approach to come alongside students in order to help them see where their strengths are (they all have them) and then to work to support the areas of challenge instead of focusing solely on challenges. With teaching English / Reading / Writing over the last 14 years, I have experience with teaching fundamental reading and literacy skills as well as advanced studies in English (creative writing, essay writing, test prep, etc.)
