About Rochi
Hi! Helping others understand--and enjoy--math has been a hobby of mine since high school. I'd help friends with math homework and study with them before tests. I'd go over their work with them when they'd get an incorrect answer without knowing what they did wrong... Overall, these experiences have helped shape my own relationship with the subject, and I'm excited to share my love of math with you!

My approach focuses on building an understanding of the reasoning behind solving math problems; a student should never feel like he or she is blindly memorizing meaningless formulas and equations. I typically will start by getting a feel for what a student is comfortable with, and from there relate new ideas back to topics already mastered.
I offer tutoring for middle school and high school students, covering topics such as pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
