About Julie A
I am passionate about music, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Always singing, I started playing piano and learned music theory at the age of eight. But I was very free, my teachers tried hard to keep my attention. I really developed my career much later, at age 20, when I started playing the guitar and then singing at the same time. I took piano lessons, I worked on the theory of music and harmony, I threw myself on all sorts of instruments, to test, to see, to hear: saxophone, flute, double bass, harmonica, accordion, drums, senza, vibraphone, melodica ... I traveled a lot in France, a little bit in London and Spain, I met many people and I asked a lot of questions. I realize today that a little advice from everyone made me work for years. On the touch, on the vibration of the note, on the intention that one gives to it, on letting go and on mastering simple rhythms ... I absolutely want to share this knowledge. Music is universal, natural and human, it is good, it is fun, it must be approached with simplicity.
