About Lorrie
Walking into a lab feels different when you can see the invisible machinery of life working under the microscope. I am currently an MD/PhD candidate at the Perelman School of Medicine, where my daily life involves applying the very concepts I teach.
My journey includes 5 years of experience and working with 75 students who needed to simplify complex biological systems. I cover topics like lab report writing, biological drawing, immunology basics, food webs, and energy flow.
I also focus on the scientific method, photosynthesis, respiration, human anatomy, and cell biology. My teaching style relies on clear, logical connections rather than overwhelming technical jargon. You can expect a collaborative environment where we simplify the most intimidating processes into manageable parts. I aim to keep my explanations grounded in the actual mechanisms that govern our bodies
