About Rohini
My name is Rohini, and I am a hardworking and diligent 18-year-old Chemical Engineering student at the University of Toronto. I have recently completed my first year and will be entering my second year of engineering. My dedication, strong work ethic, and commitment to completing tasks effectively show my work ethic. In addition, I do have previous experience tutoring students and helping them achieve their academic goals. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the piano, exploring topics in philosophy and astronomy, and expanding my knowledge through reading. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks.

As a University of Toronto engineering student, I aim to make math and physics simple, engaging, and less intimidating. I believe every student can succeed with a teaching style that matches how they learn. Rather than memorizing formulas, I help students understand the reasoning behind concepts so they can solve problems independently.
Each lesson is personalized to the student's goals and current level. We begin by reviewing previous material and identifying any areas of difficulty. I then explain new concepts step by step, using examples before working through practice questions together. As students become more comfortable, I encourage them to solve problems independently while I provide guidance and feedback. I also share effective study habits, exam strategies, and problem-solving techniques that students can use beyond our lessons.
What sets me apart is that I have recently learned many of these same topics in a rigorous engineering program, so I understand the challenges students face. I know how to explain complex ideas in a clear way and create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions without fear of making mistakes.
My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students studying mathematics or physics. Whether you need help with homework or preparing for quizzes and exams I will adapt each lesson to your learning style, pace, and academic goals. My objective is not only to help students improve their marks but also to build their confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills that will benefit them throughout their education.
