About Aiken

I am an 18 year old currently studying Bachelor of Actuarial Studies in UNSW. I was the graduating class of 2022 from Marist College Eastwood. I have a strong confidence in both my ability to teach students and my knowledge in mathematics due to my experience in teaching peers with high level mathematics. I have also achieved an E4 in Mathematics Extension 1 and a very high E3 in Mathematics Extension 2.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology would be to continue with the student's current topics in school and focus on their ability to understand the current topics and also prepare them for upcoming topics. This may be done by going through the topic one at a time and making sure that the student comprehends all aspects of the subject.

A typical length of a lesson may vary from 1-3 hours.

My experience as a tutor is that I've taught friends and family members from a wide range of ages. I have taught peers in high school that struggle in class, siblings who struggle with primary mathematics and many more.

My lessons would preferably be for years 7-12.

I was Aiken's friend in Marist College Eastwood. I wasn't a very bright student of Mathematics at the time but because I was pressured by my parents, I picked Mathematics Advanced. I struggled a lot with the topics. Aiken saw my struggles and wanted to help me. He would focus on the topics I struggled on the most and move on to the next topics that followed. My marks went from 40% to above average which really made me thankful for Aiken's amazing teaching skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs assistance with Mathematics.
