About Tuhin

Hi there! I’ve been in love with music for as long as I can remember, starting my journey at just 6 years old. Over the years, that passion has led me to play and collaborate with incredible musicians from all kinds of musical worlds.

With over 10 years on the guitar, 7 years of formal training in Indian Classical music, and 2 years of teaching, my goal is simple: to help you turn your curiosity about the guitar into real, confident playing.

My background covers a wide blend of styles—whether you're into Progressive Rock, Math Rock, and Metal, or Blues, Jazz, Funk, Country, and Indian Classical/Bollywood. As a composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, I love sharing a complete view of music. We won't just focus on moving your fingers across the fretboard; I’ll show you how music actually works, help you train your ear, and guide you in writing your own songs!

No matter where you are in your musical journey, I’m here to support you, make learning fun, and help you find your own unique voice on the instrument. Let's make some great music together!

About the lesson

I don't believe one size fits all, and that's exactly why every lesson is fully customized to your current skill level, goals, and musical taste. No rigid templates—I focus on what you need to grow. Whether you are picking up the instrument for the first time or feel stuck at an intermediate plateau, I will build a clear, step-by-step roadmap to take you from foundational basics to advanced mastery.

What We Will Cover:

- Rhythm & Strumming: Internalizing time, groove, complex meters, and dynamic control.

- Chords & Voice Leading: Moving beyond open/barre chords into smooth, expressive transitions across the neck.

- Fingerstyle Technique: Developing independence, tone, and fluidity with both hands.

- Music Theory & Fretboard Mastery: Unlocking the fretboard, scales, harmony, and applying theory practically to your playing.

- Ear Training: Learning to transcribe songs, identify chords, and play what you hear in your head.

- Reading Guitar Tablature & Alternate Tunings: Exploring open and dropped tunings to expand your sonic palette.

- Composing & Arranging: Transforming riffs and ideas into full, polished arrangements.

Lessons are conducted in a supportive, interactive environment focused on strong technique, musical expression, and steady progress at your own pace.

I’ve really loved learning guitar with Tuhin—he’s super patient and makes every lesson feel relaxed and fun.
He explains things in such a simple way, and he never makes me feel bad when I mess up or need to try something a few times.
One of my favourite things has been finally getting a song or chord progression right after struggling with it, with Tuhin encouraging me the whole way.
He’s genuinely a great teacher and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn guitar in a fun and comfortable way!

I would highly recommend Tuhin to anyone looking for an amazing guitar teacher! He is not only incredibly talented and knowledgeable, but also teaches with so much patience, kindness, and genuine love for music. What I appreciate most about his teaching style is that he never makes you feel rushed or pressured. He takes the time to understand your learning pace, explains everything clearly, and makes sure you feel comfortable and confident before moving forward. His encouragement and positive attitude make every lesson enjoyable and motivating. Even when something feels difficult, Tuhin has a wonderful way of breaking it down into simple steps and encouraging you to keep trying.
