I offer customized lessons for students aged 10 to 18 in Math, Chemistry, and any lower-year sciences.
As a teacher, I always aim to be patient and understanding of my students' needs. My lessons typically follow the Direct Instruction model, which helps students build confidence to tackle questions on their own.
Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and interests. A typical 1-hour lesson could look something like:
- Concept review (10 minutes)
- New content (15 minutes)
- Homework help (30 minutes)
- Lesson Wrap-up (5 minutes)
As a 4th-year Chemistry student at the University of Toronto, I am very familiar with a wide range of early STEM concepts. I have previous experience working as a tutor at private companies (Oxford Learning) and independently.
