About Aamina

Hello! My name is Aamina and I'm a university student. I scored a 1550 on my SAT (790 reading, 760 math). I have tutored multiple students in SAT math and reading and seen 200+ point improvements. I have also tutored general studies for elementary, middle, and high schoolers and have had high success rates in terms of grades and overall knowledge. Much of my tutoring has also taken place online, giving me extensive experience. I love working with people, and I do my best to tailor my teaching style to the specific needs of each student. I also tutor in SAT math prep and certain math classes, so please contact me if you're interested in that as well.

About the lesson

I cater to middle through high school students seeking assistance or working to elevate their mastery of SAT and general! Lesson plans will differ based on your learning style and priorities, but usually they'll start with an assessment to see your placement/your growth and then we'll send time focusing on two or three main areas which need improvement, followed by the student explaining concepts to me in order to apply what is being learned for more improvement. I try to cater to each student individually based on what motivates them and have had students improve test scores and grades significantly.
