About Brogan

Brogan is a 4.0 Valedictorian high school graduate currently attending the University of Michigan, the third-best nursing school in the country. His dedication to education is evident—he moved from Washington to Michigan in pursuit of his academic goals. With firsthand experience balancing the demands of academics and life, Brogan understands the struggles middle and high school students face—both in and out of the classroom. His own journey through high school involved overcoming the challenges of being a teenager while striving to get ahead in his education. This experience gives him a unique ability to empathize with students and offer meaningful support. Brogan is committed to helping you build confidence and master the material, whether you’re preparing for high school, tackling AP courses, or aiming for a seamless transition to college. With his guidance, you’ll gain the skills and self-assurance needed to face academic challenges head-on.

About the lesson

Brogan is a patient and dedicated tutor who works with students to solve problems and truly understand the material. His teaching approach focuses on collaboration and breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable parts. Brogan offers extra tips and study tricks to help students retain information and develop effective independent learning strategies.

A typical lesson begins with a broad overview of the subject before diving into specific areas of confusion. Brogan carefully dissects challenging concepts and helps students put them back together step by step, ensuring they grasp the material thoroughly. His goal is not just to help students pass a class but to equip them with the skills and confidence to succeed on their own—so they won’t need a tutor anymore.

What sets Brogan apart is his emphasis on teamwork and long-term growth. He creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and never feel lost or alone.

Brogan’s lessons are tailored for middle school and early high school students, covering subjects such as science, biology, nutrition, anatomy/physiology, biochemistry, and chemistry. He also offers support for lower-level high school courses.
