About Mihir

I'm a university student with a strong background in mathematics and physics, currently pursuing studies in engineering/computer science. I have hands-on experience with research projects and technical problem-solving, which helps me understand both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of these subjects. My passion for tutoring comes from genuinely enjoying these subjects and wanting to help others overcome the challenges I once faced. I believe that with the right explanation and approach, any student can master math and physics concepts that initially seem difficult.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach as Mihir
I focus on making math and physics concepts clear through visual learning and step-by-step problem-solving. My goal is helping students understand the "why" behind formulas, not just memorize them.
Teaching Methodology

Visual Learning: Use diagrams, graphs, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts concrete
Step-by-Step Breakdown: Break complex problems into manageable pieces
Active Practice: Students solve problems while I guide and provide immediate feedback
Multiple Explanations: Find different ways to explain concepts until they click

Typical Lesson Plan

Review (10 min): Quick problems from previous lessons
New Concept (20 min): Interactive explanation with examples
Guided Practice (20 min): Work through problems together
Independent Work (10 min): Student practices while I provide targeted help

What Sets Me Apart
I excel at identifying where students get stuck and explaining concepts in multiple ways. Having faced these challenges myself, I understand common misconceptions and can anticipate problem areas before they become roadblocks.
