About Amy
I am currently heading into my third year of study at the University of Liverpool, studying pharmacology. Pharmacology is a branch of medicine, concerning the origin, chemistry and uses of drugs and their effects on the body. It is a unique discipline that allows me to spend my time studying biology and chemistry equally. As a young tutor, I aim to provide a relaxed learning environment, where my students can ask as many questions as they want.

As a pharmacology student I spend my days study chemistry, biology and everything in-between. With A-levels in both subjects, I am able to help GCSE students gain extra confidence for their exams. My lessons are student-led, and we focus on the areas of the course the student feels they are struggling with. No two people learn in the same way, so I aim to tailor the way I explain concepts, until we find what works for the individual student! Lessons will be online and last an hour. Tutoring will be over the summer period of June - early September, so is perfect for year 10's who want to consolidate first year content, before moving onto the harder year 11 stuff!
