About Estella
I have worked with hundreds of ESL students in order to help them read, write, and speak in English over the course of my three years running volunteer-based ESL classes in the United States. It is something that brings me genuine joy and I have missed doing.

The most important thing when learning a language is building confidence and feeling comfortable. As someone who has understood the difficulty of speaking a new language, as well as how nervous it can make you, I always want to make my students feel supported, relaxed, and comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, or receive helpful feedback.
My lessons usually range from 1-2 hours, but I am very flexible to my students' individual preferences and needs!
I was the head of a volunteer-based EOSL course, which I taught once a week for three years. My students were primarily adults, though I separately tutored children and teenagers in EOSL for two years.
I work with all ages! You are never too young or too old to learn a new language.
