About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily. I’m a recent high school graduate (Class of ’25) and I’m currently studying International Business at university. Throughout school, I’ve loved English and spent years helping my classmates — and now I want to help you too. Even if English isn’t your favorite subject, I can help you excel in your exams while also showing you how to enjoy it. I got a 9 (A*) in English First Language at IGCSE, finishing top of my batch, and after self-studying all four AS+A2 Level papers in under a year, I scored a high B in A Level English Language. I have experience with both CIE and Edexcel, so I can help you out no matter your curriculum. I understand what struggling as a student feels like, and my goal is to help you struggle a little less — while making studying a bit more fun along the way.

About the lesson

I focus on personalized lessons, adapting them to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement.

Each class will be tailored to each student's individual needs, as I understand that not everyone learns the same way. Lessons combine exam strategies, writing practice, and interactive discussion to build confidence and skills.
I also provide optional notes and model answers for extra support.

One session is an hour long, depending on the student’s needs. Longer sessions are possible.

My lessons are designed for IGCSE and AS/A2 Level students, suitable for anyone looking to strengthen their English language skills and achieve top grades.

I can help you learn in the way that you learn best. I go according to your preferred pace and learning style, not my own.

IMPORTANT: The hourly rate shown (AED 100) is my STARTING price.

Final rates depend on the subject level (First Language, Second Language, AS, or A2) and whether lessons are on weekdays or weekends.
Weekdays are usually a bit lower than weekends, and advanced levels are priced a little higher due to the depth of preparation and teaching required.

Optional study note bundles (PPTs, concise revision notes, model answers, and mindmaps) are available for an additional cost, depending on what you require.
