About Kiran
Hello! I'm Karthik, an IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta alumnus with a strong passion for Mathematics and teaching.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have seen that students who truly understand concepts outperform those who rely on memorization. This belief has shaped my teaching philosophy. Mathematics is not about tricks or shortcuts; it is about developing logical thinking and building strong fundamentals.
I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds and helping them overcome their fear of Mathematics. Whether a student is struggling with basics or aiming to strengthen their problem-solving skills, my goal is to help them develop confidence and a genuine understanding of the subject.
I teach students from Classes 6 to 10 across different boards and curricula, including CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, and international programs.

My classes focus on understanding concepts deeply rather than memorizing formulas or learning exam tricks.
Every topic is taught from first principles, ensuring that students understand why a concept works before learning how to apply it. Once the fundamentals are strong, solving difficult questions and scoring well in exams becomes much easier.
A typical class begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by interactive explanations, examples, guided practice, and doubt clarification. I encourage students to ask questions and think independently instead of simply following steps.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and highly personalized. I adapt the pace based on the student's current level and focus on building long-term mathematical thinking skills rather than short-term exam preparation.
These classes are ideal for students who want to strengthen their fundamentals, improve their confidence in Mathematics, and develop a lasting understanding of the subject.
