About Adam

Hi Students!
I'm looking forward to helping you achieve the grades you want and deserve. My name is Adam Justice, I'm currently an undergraduate student at the University of Glasgow studying towards a master's degree in History.
I have been helping younger students at your level for the past two years at my school, I hope to be able to teach through discussion and practice in quick 1-2 hr sessions to help you build and retain your knowledge as well as give you a plan and a framework for your studies going forward.
Personally, I am a massive sports and film fanatic, I'm a massive Arsenal fan and big into acting which I hope to pursue as a career in the future. I also love to travel and hope to explore more countries which I haven't been to in the future.
I'm hoping we have some things to talk about and to build your confidence in your subject and in yourself. If that's what you're looking for, look no further.

About the lesson

I'm all about working with my students on what they think they need help with, helping them to discover their passion for a subject through trial and error. I'm a patient teacher and am also prepared to work with students who have learning difficulties as I have both ADHD and dyslexia, which would make me better equipped to advise and guide any child with these learning difficulties. At GCSE level, I was able to attain an 8 in History and a 9 in both Drama/Theatre Studies and a 9 in Philosophy, Religion and Ethics. I was elected Head Boy by my fellow students at my former school Bedales, known for its patient and progressive teaching style. I have already helped students at my old school in small study groups for my subjects in a weekly supervised study activity, as well as being very familiar with the material at GCSE level. This usually took form in practice questions and discussions with the students in order to test their knowledge and fill any gaps.
