About Lindsay

I have an holistic approach to teaching Mathematics, which is why I incorporate what my students enjoy and are interested in, into my lessons. I am an organized person so prepare my lessons beforehand and teach from there - adding in the finer details as the lesson progresses and I get to know my student better.

My initial meeting with my student will determine the lesson level, however this will be adapted as my student progresses and together we find what works best for them.

Learning should be enjoyable which is what I aim to achieve with every lesson. I want my students to feel confident in their knowledge and excited about the subject after they complete a lesson with me.

Hi!

I am a teacher who is incredibly passionate about helping learners reach their academic goals.

I am proficient in teaching English Home Language, First Additional Language and Mathematics.

I am a very organized and hard-working person and therefore will have a well thought-out plan for every lesson which we will work through step by step. I am also very patient and will work on each topic with you until you fully understand it by doing lots of revision.

I also believe that learning should be fun so I will try to incorporate the element of fun and discussion in every lesson.

As a person who is easy-going and friendly, I will quickly form a good relationship with my student which will help make the learning process easier and more enjoyable.
