About František

I am a UCD theoretical physics student from the Czech Republic. I have been tutoring for the past two years, and I have enjoyed it very much. During this time, I have helped numerous students achieve their target Leaving Cert results or simply improve their school grades.Mathematics and physics have been my passions since I was young. My goal as a tutor is to prove to students that maths and physics can be fully understood—and that they are infinitely interesting. I truly believe that anybody can master these subjects given a tailored approach from a tutor and a solid foundation.

About the lesson

I am a UCD theoretical physics student with two years of tutoring experience specialising in Leaving Certificate and Junior Cycle Physics and Maths as well as introductory college-level STEM modules. Typically lessons take 60 minutes but I am flexible with my time if the student needs it. My teaching methodology centers on what each individual student needs to achieve. I prefer a gradual, step-by-step approach where we build on existing knowledge so the student logically masters every concept. However, if a student has gaps in their foundation or urgent exam deadlines, I can quickly bridge those gaps to get them up to speed.
