About Tom
I am a self employed Artist with a strong enthusiasm for discussing other people's artistic practice, and want to create a relaxed environment where people can explore and improve their own work whilst broadening their knowledge of the traditional and contemporary Art world.
Since graduating in 2019 in a Fine Art BA, I have been a self employed Artist specialising in portrait commissions and figurative artwork.
Notable commissioned sitters of mine include Theo Faberge, Professor Green, Jazzie B, Laura Linney, Axel Ruger, Sarah Healey and Courtney Pine.

About the lesson

Let's start by discussing your current work and what you want to achieve. I'll teach you techniques to improve your pieces in a variety of mediums. I will recommend artists, exhibitions and writings to expand your knowledge and inspiration. For students, we can go through your sketchbooks to make sure you are hitting all of the exam board criteria. Exercises will be set to improve skills and artistic critical thought (and expand sketchbooks), and constant portfolio reviews to ensure progress is being made.
Lessons will start at one hour long but may extend if necessary.
I have been a self employed Artist since graduating in 2019. I have exhibited in many UK galleries and competitions where I have also been a finalist, including SkyArts Portrait Artist of the Year and the Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Prize.
