About KATIE
I have tutored many students from kindergarten to middle school students.
I enjoyed teaching young children. I have tutored students from family friends children to neighbor children from high school and randomly thru out just to help, earn extra money. Most recently during covid, I've tutored an international student 4th grader and lastly tutored a kindergarten.
I have arts and science background. I am a graduate of BS in Marketing Merchandising Management, AAS in Fashion Design, and Patternmaking Technology and attended Post-bachelor Premed.
I like learning new things, open minded, love cultured related events, love outdoor activities; camping, hiking, gardening, bike riding, playing tennis, or being a spectator to the major games, like all art related; painting, drawing, listening music, sculpturing, playing piano.
I am compassionate, and sincere, genuine to be in good intention to be helpful to anyone.

I am an advocate of education is very important for everyone. Mind can't be wasted.
All children need good mentor and teacher to guide them to succeed in education.
I always enjoy teaching children and watch their success, develop, grow.
I am very patient with children, help them to enjoy, feel confidence in themselves, and their achievements.
I like to make students to feel fun learning and accomplishments.
I usually go over school subject they covered from school, then supervised student to do homework, when I see if a student struggle with homework assignment, not getting right answer, I review the subject again make sure student understand and go over the homework assignment together. After complete the assignment, I give my own quiz to see if a student understand the subject matter, or give a similar question that a student didn't get right answer from homework.
