About Rosa
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology, graduating magna cum laude with honors. Due to my major, I took many pre-medical courses such as Organic Chemistry I & II, Biochemistry, and Physics I, where I received As. In high school, I received 5s on AP courses such as Calculus AB/BC and English Lang/Lit as well as a 1540 on the SAT (Math: 800, R/W: 740).

From teaching numerous students over the years, I developed the following strategies to effectively improve their skills:
1. Establish concrete weekly, semester, or regular goals that are broken up into measurable and actionable daily tasks
2. Recognize the weak areas of the student and target those areas by curating specific problem sets or concept summaries
3. Have the student re-explain material to test their knowledge
4. Record a daily log with questions or concepts that the student struggled with and note feedback at the end of each lesson
By conducting my lessons with specific aims, I build up both students' skillsets and confidence to allow them to thrive.
I accept students from all different age groups in the subjects that I teach.
