About Jodie

I have 3 years teaching experience at schools and universities in the UK, Thailand and Spain. I have taught many students and led significant improvements in knowledge and grades. I love to teach because I have a passion for learning and study. I enjoy helping others reach their potential and inspiring their interest. Learning should be enjoyable, and an important skills in itself at all ages. The pressure to achieve can be overwhelming and I want to help students do the best they can by providing the skills and support I wish I'd had as a student.

About the lesson

I have worked as a tutor and teacher in several countries. My students get strong results as I tailor bespoke lessons to each individual. I believe in a hands-on approach to develop student understanding of the subject matter and believe that learning should be enjoyable - and can be for everyone - once we have found the right strategies and techniques that work for us.

I am a passionate and avid reader who loves to talk about literature, share that passion with students' and enhance students' understanding.

I have experience of working with special educational needs and knowledge of learning to work around difficulties, and playing to individual strengths and learning styles. I enjoy teaching and I have a passion for English language and literature. I think a good tutor should break down the course content to make things easier for their students, enabling them to achieve greater outcomes.
