About Colton

I have over 150 hours of recorded tutoring with students at UCA. Many of my students have said I was very helpful to them for achieving the grade they wanted in their class, so I am confident that I can help others the same way.

About the lesson

When tutoring for a specific topic, I bring materials and notes that I have about that specific topic. I use this material to both prepare myself for the lesson and to show students so that my notes may help them. My goal is to help students so that they can understand the topic enough to answer questions about the topic on their own. I do this by first explaining the material, then I demonstrate how to answer a question about the material. Next, I allow the student to work on the problem by themselves and I will guide them through it. Finally, I will let the student do the problem by themselves and then check their answer at the end. When the student is able to do problems by themselves, they are ready to move on.

First 2 hours are free if the student agrees to a second lesson. Otherwise, the first 2 hours are $10 per hour. After this, the standard rate is applied.
