About Megan

Hello! My name is Megan. I am a third year university student looking to help other students succeed! I have always been passionate about helping others understand topics that I am knowledgeable in. A fun fact about me is that I was originally planning on going in to education with my degree! I enjoy helping others understand complex ideas and thrive in their education. I pride myself on creating a safe and open environment for all students to feel comfortable!

About the lesson

I believe that teaching should be a collaborative effort! I start by discussing areas of strength and weakness with the student and establish academic goals specific to each individual. I think it is also very important to acknowledge that each individual thrives with different styles of learning! I do take this into account when teaching. I charge $25 an hour if I do not have to provide worksheets and $35 an hour if I do need to provide worksheets.
