About Sara
Hi! My name is Sara, and I am currently a third-year medical student pursuing my M.D. at Ross University School of Medicine. Before medical school, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology and have since completed extensive coursework in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, and the foundational medical sciences. I also passed the USMLE Step 1 on my first attempt.
Throughout my education, I have come to realize that science is much easier to learn when you understand the concepts instead of simply memorizing facts. Everyone learns differently, and I enjoy finding the approach that works best for each student. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing a deeper understanding of the material.
Whether you're preparing for an exam, struggling with a difficult topic, or simply looking to strengthen your foundation, I'd be happy to help you reach your goals.

My lessons are designed for undergraduate, pre-med, and medical students studying biology, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, and USMLE Step 1 concepts. As a third-year medical student who passed USMLE Step 1, I understand how overwhelming these subjects can feel and how important it is to build a strong foundation.
During each lesson, I first identify where a student is struggling and then break difficult topics into smaller, logical steps. Rather than encouraging memorization alone, I focus on understanding the "why" behind each concept so students can apply their knowledge to new questions and exams. I frequently use diagrams, clinical examples, and practice questions to reinforce learning.
Every session is tailored to the student's goals, whether that is preparing for an upcoming exam, improving grades, mastering difficult concepts, or developing long-term study strategies. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and leave each lesson with greater confidence and a clearer understanding of the material.
